Grand Rapids, Mich. ~ Innexus® optical website, social media, and marketing program for eye care professionals is holding a Logo Design-A-Thon for all eye care practices and other companies in the optical industry that need a new or updated logo. The Logo Design-a-Thon event will run during the months of August and September. During this time, Innexus will design a new logo for every business day at a greatly reduced rate.

Prior to the two-month-long event, Innexus will take sign-ups from eye care practices and optical companies that need a new or updated logo. The first business to sign up will receive a logo on August 1 and be billed $10. The second business to sign up will receive a logo on August 2 for $15. Each business day, the rate will increase by $5. The business owner will receive a first proof in the morning and will have until 4 pm to discuss changes to the logo, seeing multiple revisions during the course of the day if desired. If at the end of the business day, they would like further changes after the final submission, Innexus will be available for additional updates at the regular hourly design rate.

“I was inspired by an article I read about a freelance graphic designer,” said Heather Morrison, office manager at Innereactive Media (the parent company of Innexus). “The unusually low price will enable us to meet even more eye care professionals, and at the same time, give them a chance to enhance their branding. We have a lot of experience working with eye care professionals, laboratories, frame and lens manufacturers to strategically market and grow their companies. We’re excited to make even more connections.”

At the end of September, the last of forty-four business owners who signed up for the service will receive a logo for a maximum investment of $225. Small business experts cite that a simple logo should run at least $250, but most agencies charge thousands of dollars to do multiple revisions and include various artists and marketing strategists in the creation of a custom logo.

11127813_10153273821593385_4409647173400590543_nWe know it’s unheard of for a marketing agency to design a logo for as little as ten dollars,” said Samantha Toth, President, and owner of Innereactive Media. “However, we want to support the optical community and empower them for success with a great logo that represents what they do. Plus, we want more optical businesses to know we are a resource for digital marketing, web design, advertising, social media, and more. We see this as a great, low entry way for companies to give us a try.”

Small businesses employ 57% of the country’s private workforce and account for 44% of U.S. payroll. The majority of these companies are owned and operated by a single person (70%), which means that many small business owners are working alone to provide goods and services to their communities while doing their own marketing and advertising. Innexus aims to make professional optical marketing easy and affordable for even the smallest practices.

Innexus is pleased to provide this service, and the sign-up11822715_10153572599103385_5772715521168107814_n website will become available at 9:00 am ET on July 11th at http://Getinnexus.com/logo-design-a-thon. The terms and conditions of the offer can be found on the website.

Posted by | News | No Comments

Cherry-7953Cherry Optical, Inc utilizes top of the line equipment to ensure the most accurate images for proper edging and fit. We are currently operating four GT-5000 tracers. These machines employ the swing function which provides the correct base curve for the frame every time. This skill is extremely helpful with specialty sunglass frames. (Don’t forget National Sunglasses Day – June 27th!) The GT-5000 tracers also trace patterns and lenses for drill and groove jobs. With the help of these instruments, Cherry Optical, Inc can trace about one hundred jobs per hour with precise imagery. Each machine is calibrated and tested three times a day to ensure proper measurements at all times.

For those out of the ordinary requests, we also have the ability to manipulate and provide special shapes. Our skilled craftsmen have the knowledge and experience to change eye sizes, add to B measurements, and even rotate images to ensure proper axis and shape. At Cherry Optical, Inc you get the real deal! We challenge you to send your toughest jobs; we’re confident you’ll be impressed.

Using a recipe from the 80’s, Cherry Optical, Inc produces vision therapy lorgnettes used for today’s patients. Without the collaboration of our customer Dr. Marilyn Brenne Heinke, OD and Joe Cherry, Cherry Optical, Inc wouldn’t have the proper color formulas and combinations for these lorgnettes.

Dr. Heinke’s experience in vision therapy and Joe’s insistent need to fulfill not only the eye care professional’s needs, but the patient’s as well, are what created these unique products. Through their trial and error, they created revolutionary optics for those suffering from a wide range of ailments. From treating strabismus to stroke victims, concussions to traumatic brain injury, visual therapy can help patients regain normal functions. Instead of passively waiting for health to return, vision therapy can not only better the patient’s vision, but their quality of life.

Vision therapy is a group of “training exercises” which focus on the muscles that aren’t working and what areas of the brain aren’t triggering. Visual therapy reroutes the signals and helps restore the brain’s passageways. It’s thanks to Dr. Marilyn Heinke and Joe Cherry that these lorgnetteCherry-7146s are available for other practices today.

Dr. Heidi Johnson, OD, FCOVD, whom we manufactured this set for, has immersed herself in this field and works with her team to produce high levels of patient success using these products.
